Rank Math automatically adds a self-referencing canonical URL to your whole site as long as they are set to index.
If the canonical is still missing in the source code, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this could be caused by conflicting plugins/theme on your site.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
