Once done, if you will install Rank Math in the future, you may need to start from scratch.

I am not able to upload image, otherwise would have shown you.
Where in functions.php should i write the code. the article you shared shows it for rankmath.php and I don’t have that.
On link share.
If i share my home page with someone on slack or whatsapp, it shows the author and est time to read, which doesn’t make sense for a home page.
When I share my blog page, it shows html snippets in description.
So, I want to rollback, and one day when I have a few hours, I will try again

However, if you don’t want the estimated time and author to appear when you share your posts/pages on Slack then you can disable the Slack Enhanced Sharing option from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Post Types]:
To share an image, you can use an image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com to upload your image and then share the image link here.

We recommend using two ways to add custom-coded filters and hooks to your WordPress website safely.
Please note that you can also directly modify your theme’s functions.php file but it can cause issues if not done correctly.
The first recommended method uses a plugin called Code Snippets, and the second method recommended would be adding the code to rank-math.php.

Do i need to create a rankmath.php file?
Hey man is there an easy way to do this. I just installed rankmath and wanted to uninstallright away. It has been the most complicated plug-in i have come across.
I have heard its a great product, and it must be, but I want to go back to all settings as it were before.I want to undo any changes that rankmath made.
Also the slack button you are talking about i had turned it off. it still shows author and time to read when i share it on slack. fyi
try entering https://themasalapapad.com/ in slack. you will see.
and its my homepage. why would a homepage show author and time to read??!!!

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience you may have faced. Can you please try to disable the Slack Enhanced Sharing option from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Post Types]? After disabling that option please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache. It should remove the estimated time and author name from your homepage.
However, if you still want to completely remove the Rank Math plugin then you can add that filter by using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/

Thank you. That option sounds great. I’m going to try to install rankmath again tomorrow, if i am not able to do it, will take your help.
I had turned off all buttons on rankmath dashboard and then deleted the plug-in.
I am going to try again tomorrow to re-install it. Can I reinstall it again or do I need to delete some code somewhere before i re-install
I reintstalled ranmath. One probelm that i am facing now is-

also, edit with elementor has disappeared from blog page
