bug on robots meta tag in free version of rank math

    Hi,
    I have a problem with my website

    I have several Taxonomy pages but Some of the theme have this problem,
    In the rank math setting, I set these pages indexable and followable for Google robots
    but on these pages, the robots meta tag doesn’t change

    you can see this problem on this page:
    <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, noindex” />
    Link: https://torontocondohome.net/condos-for-sale/markville/

    I add this code in function.php to change this meta tag but it just duplicates and can’t change the rank math robots meta tag. (code sent in sensitive data)
    this meta tag added by function PHP code:
    <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, index, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1, max-image-preview:large” />

    please give me a solution for solving this problem.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    To ensure that the taxonomy pages are set to index, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Taxonomy name] and set the Robots Meta to Index like in this image

    Index

    Also, try editing the taxonomy page and set the robots meta under the Advanced tab:

    If the noindex issue still persists, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this seems to be a plugin/theme conflict.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    I check all of these steps and everything is ok
    even when I active index checkbox that does not change and show noindex again
    in addition my custom code doesn’t work in function.php
    all of taxonomies are ok but 9 taxonomy has these problem

    that was a mistake in my template
    in the taxonomy page, we should add at least one listing to the index page
    without listing although the rank math index option was indexable but it shows noindex
