Facebook Article Posts with Image show You Are Being Redirected

    Hello,
We are experiencing intermittent post errors on Facebook. On the post, underneath RankMath SEO Social, the preview looks just fine. The image is 600 x 315. When posted to Facebook the image says You Are Being Redirected.
This happens intermittently. Viewing the page source, we cannot tell any difference from a post that works fine.
Any direction on what could be the cause?

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I’ve checked your site, and there are duplicate Opengraph meta tags coming from the Blog2Social plugin.

This causes conflicts with Rank Math as we also provide those meta tags. In this case, you can get in touch with their team and ask for assistance to remove the Opengraph meta tags so you can use it alongside Rank Math.

Once done, you can check your posts showing the incorrect image using Facebook Debugger Tool to clear the cache of the URL in Facebook.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Blog2Social has been deactivated.

    Hello,

We’ve checked your pages again with the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and we can see that now the correct og image is showing for your pages. Please check the screenshots in the sensitive data section for your reference.

If you’re still facing the issue, please try to clear your browser cache and check again.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We’ve checked all the URLs you’ve shared with the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and we can see the OG image is showing there properly.

We went ahead and directly checked your URL on Facebook and the OG image is also appearing there:

All of the images we have posted on our site http://www.huntsvillebusinessjournal.com are showing up as being redirected on Facebook. These are posts from June 1 through today.

    Hello,

The images are showing fine upon testing them using Facebook Debugger Tool.

Could you please take a screenshot of those links upon sharing the links?

You can upload screenshots using this tool and add the generated links here.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Would there be a reason for it to lag a couple of days before I can post? I’ve cleared the history/cache in my Facebook app. I’m apparently having to wait several days before sharing any posts on Facebook due to the ongoing issue.

    Hello,

There should not have a delay if the Opengraph image is already outputted correctly in your page’s source code.

The debugger tool can be used in such cases where Facebook is showing a cached page on the application itself.

Meanwhile, we’ve seen this issue in the past when our user found out that it was an issue with emergency DDOS settings on their firewall. Could you please check if that’s the same case on your site?

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

I think you may be on to something, however not sure what to be looking for in the setting for the DDOS security. I went through the better part of last week with no issues posting to FB, but so far this week it has been redirecting again. Looked into the DDOS, but not sure what I’m looking for.
