  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

From your screenshot, it seems that you have submitted your sub-sitemaps and your sitemap index file.

If you have submitted your sitemap index file, then you won’t need to submit all of your sitemaps. Please remove all your sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I tested out the website using site operator in Google and it showed it had indexed 60 URLs. Also, I checked the sitemap_index.xml and in total of 5 sitemap you have around 61 URLs. So, Google has already indexed those URLs and didn’t discovered anything new in that sitemap.

So, the Discovered URLs 0 that you see in Google Search Console just means that the URLs in the sitemap were already found by Googlebot by other means, instead of via the sitemap. For example, Googlebot may have found the URLs from internal links or possibly from links on another site.

You can read more about it here: https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-discovered-urls-through-sitemap/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you

how can we solved the zero stiemap issue tell me the solution

    Hello,

Each time Google uses a sitemap to find a URL, the count of the Discovered URLs increases by one. When the count of the Discovered URLs is zero or does not match your actual sitemap, it means Google didn’t use the sitemap to find the URLs.

Please note that if the URLs are getting discovered by other means, then the discovered URLs in the sitemap section can be zero. It mostly happens when you have good internal linking or use the Instant Indexing plugin. Can you please confirm if that’s the case on your site?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
