You can continue the setup even if the GSC property is not visible in the drop-down.
Then head to your Google account and remove Rank Math permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
After that please navigate to WP dashboard > Rank Math > General settings > Analytics > Click on “reconnect” and provide all required permissions to Rank Math. https://rankmath.com/kb/connect-your-google-account/

Hello,
Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
If the settings are not getting saved properly, please try saving the settings for the Analytics with a different browser such as Google Chrome. If you’re already using Chrome, then you can try it in Incognito mode just to save the settings.

Hi,
All tutorials are saying this all is handled automatically inside the Rank Math plugin when doing the set up. This makes it very consuming.
So I manually added my domain in Search console via method “Domain name provider” , now Rank Math finds my site name : sc-domain: mydomain, but I still can’t enable the “Index Status Tab”
What to do?

Apologies for the inconvenience.
Please make sure that you are connecting to Google Search Console via URL prefix (HTTPS WWW or non-WWW).
The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.
Once done, reconnect your website in Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and enable the IndexStatus tab.

So with the URL function I got it working. I can enable the status and it is green.
However i also found this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/
And it didn’t ask me for step 1.4 Choose Verification Method.
But all seems to be working now.
Am I set up correctly now ?

If your website is already verified on Google or if you’ve followed the following method to connect your Google account with Rank Math then you don’t need to follow those steps.

Can you please confirm if you’re now able to see your Google Search Console data on your Rank Math Analytics Dashboard? If you’re able to see the data that means your connection is successfully set up.
