This is because you’ve XML declaration error on your sitemap.
This is usually caused by whitespace in your theme code that is breaking the sitemap generation. In your case, not only sitemap, but also for any other URLs on your site, the blank lines are added in the source code.
This might be added by a blank line/space in your wp-config.php file or your theme’s functions.php file. Here’s a link for more information:

You can get in touch with your web host for assistance checking your website files for you.
Also, make sure your cache is disabled as it is highly likely that the cache is interfering with the working of Sitemap functionality of Rank Math.
Besides, it seems that you’re currently using the Rank Math PRO plugin, but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.

The error you’re receiving is due to blank line being inserted in the sitemap index. This might be added in your wp-config.php file or your theme’s functions.php file. If there is no such blank space in your wp-config.php or functions.php file. So, in most cases it’s caused due to theme / plugin conflict.
