Meta description and title not updating / cannot install Gutenberg

    I have added a keyword, metadescription and updated the title to a blog post. However, when I search this in Google, the old title and the first sentance of the blog is used. I searched through the previous threads and saw that you have to add the keyword through Gutenberg however when I try to install this, it says it is not compatible with my version of wordpress.This is WordPress 4.9.8

    Is there another way to update the metadescription and title so the change displays on Google?

    the theme is use is Kale

    No you don’t need to have Gutenberg installed for this to work. Could you please share a link to the affected post so that we can check this further?

    I have checked your site on google and it appears Rank math is perfectly setting the correct meta description. The page showing on google is a cached version as you can see: https://i.rankmath.com/MfgRsW. You can also use this tool to see how your page would be displayed: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    The only thing you can do is await for google to crawl your pages and update its cache.
