Permalink and URL changes

    Ok, I’ve done something stupid…..

    I have installed rank math, not the stupid thing as I love it……. I then watched loads of YouTube stuff to read up on SEO etc which I found fantastic.

    I then used YouTube and online documentation to properly setup w3 total cache. This is where something stupid comes in.

    I have reset my permalink structure…….. Now as some products have been around for about a year I’m getting homepage redirects and some not showing at all. Also using advice from rank math when editing product pages, I adjusted/shortened URL’s….

    No even when I type in specific searches such as ‘blue lace agate 8mm bracelet in market harborough’ which is pretty specific, it doesn’t come up in search engines. Also my side bar shows in search engines which is weird as it’s disabled….

    When i type in ‘tigers eye bracelet in market harborough’ this shows up in the search results
    https://www.soelbeads.co.uk/tigers-eye-bracelet-with-cool-green-turquoise-and-howlite-1-2/
    which takes me to the home page. It should go to this
    https://www.soelbeads.co.uk/tigers-eye-bracelet-with-cool-green-turquoise-and-howlite/

    is there a way of setting the redirects so that is there is part of the description in the url then it goes to the page?

    All in all I seem to have created a s##t show.

    Can anyone help or am I going to have to learn from mistakes?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The most efficient method to rollback the changes would be to login into your hosting dashboard and install a recent backup.
    This will ensure that all the changes are restored back to the way they were before you changed the permalinks and then you can install Rank Math afresh.
