Home Page Meta Description Missing

    A site audit shown the home page is missing a meta description. I have one filled in for the page in Rank Math. I see with the element inspector it is still empty. The other pages all work fine. I have cached the site, run health check plugin, checked PHP version is most current, checked to see if the theme is trying to over-ride somehow. I am at a loss as to getting that description to show in the head for that page.

    It seems like something else is adding an incorrect meta description tag to your post and they seem to be all broken.

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    There is some code on your theme that is adding the extra meta and keyword tags. Unfortunately you have file editing disabled on your site and thus I could not check this to be certain.

    I found settings in the theme which relate to the seo of the index page. Fiddling with those has allowed text to appear in the meta description. Thanks for the help!
